Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau steps up
Canadian exposure with marketing agency

The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau (VCB) has appointed VoX International Inc. as
its marketing agency to promote the destination in Canada. Under the direction of the VCB, the firm
will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing plan, provide a strategic direction in
sales, public relations and promotions for this important international market.

The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Office of Travel and Tourism Industries reports that Canada is the strongest inbound market to Florida. More and more Canadians are discovering the diverse nature- and history-based attractions and activities offered along The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel.

Based in Toronto, VoX International Inc. has extensive experience in the tourism industry,
directing travel trade marketing for several destinations throughout North America and the
Caribbean. The account will also be supported by the agency’s team members in Quebec and Western Canada.

"International visitors have always been prominent to the Fort Myers and Sanibel Island area,” stated
VCB Executive Director Tamara Pigott. "Our research shows that Canada is among the destination’s top tourist feeder markets, so the VCB is pleased to work with VoX International to increase our competitive position in this lucrative marketplace.”

Canadian-owned VoX is recognized as a leader within the country’s marketplace, focusing on all facets of the travel and tourism sectors with its innovative
and results-driven marketing solutions. Some of their US destination clients include Las Vegas and Texas. VoX also represents international destinations such as Kenya, Peru, and the German National Tourist Board.

"We are excited to have been chosen to represent The Beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel,” said VoX
International President Susan Webb. "VoX has a proven track record of providing strategic and integrated initiatives in the tourism industry and we are confident that our experience and valued contacts will be great assets to the Lee County Visitor and Convention Bureau.”
